Meet Managing Partner,
Christopher Smith

Christopher brings over 20 years of expertise in general contracting, management, and business development to The Standard Private Equity Group. He holds a degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University, where he graduated in 2002.

His career began at Granite Construction Company, a globally recognized billion-dollar infrastructure firm, where he worked as an engineer. From there, Christopher built his own construction company, scaling it more than 100x, and later expanded into real estate by buying and flipping properties. This experience sparked his passion for private equity and laid the foundation for his ongoing work in building strong, diversified real estate portfolios.

Under his leadership, the firm has set a bold goal of acquiring over $500 million in real estate assets within the next five years.
